The days passed, the ex mermaid was with some nice cassual attire instead of a royal gawn. The day of the tour of the kingdom was so nice! She could see how truly a land walker kingdom looked like, there it was no worries for her. everything was perfect, so perfect that she forgot about the deal. True... the kiss!. How could she forget?

The lake was beautiful, the air was so fresh, the breeze so welcoming, her sitting across the little boat as she looks around with the fireflies, or better said Lums, iluminating the night.

Her eyes suddenly focusng on him as she just looks at him with her precious eyes, lowering her head sightly with her smile, she was so happy to be in her presence.

Then, she dared to approach him, closing her eyes and plucking her lips, looking for his lips but then don't truly daringand moving her head to kiss his cheek instead. She wanted to kiss him so much, feel his hugs, hear the words 'I love you' coming from his lips.Wait... would he ever love her as she loves him?

Underrated Peak character design in Rayman for me was the fireflies.

They look great and should be used more in the series.

I agree! I can’t promise I’ll use the design but it’s on a table, a table I’ll need a while to set up.

I feel like we don’t talk enough about the fireflies in Rayman 1. They were cooking damn good with that design.

I imagine they’re like Tinkerbell and can glow different colors depending on their mood

Due to their luminescence, spindly limbs, and jovial nature, Fireflies are often thought to be related to Lums. To tell you the truth, they're actually distant Valley cousins of the Ludivs! With a much higher well-sighted population than their Gladeish counterparts, these pretty little fairies are often assigned as guides through dark regions, including the Caves of Skops.

Let's see, it's my first time doing something like this and my first time on Tumblr so I'll do my best. I'll probably scrap this introduction in the future for a more updated version when I'll get the feeling on how to do it!

With that said, hello, my name is Morgan and apparently this is my blog, Hatsune Mirto. The name is a pun of Hatsune Miku and the "Mirto", a plant used to make liquor where I live. I found this name to be pretty funny and representative of my silly personality.

I'm a 23 year old non-binary person, don't be hars with me as i don't really know how to use Tumblr as a whole.

I'll now proceed to list my interests, dividing them in various categories, I'll try to make this post as "easy" to read as possible even if it's totally not something I'm good at.

VIDEOGAMES: I have a kinda unhealthy obsession with gacha games (not a spender but I play too much of them). The ones I'm currently playing are: - Genshin Impact - Honkai Star Rail - Zenless Zone Zero - Punishing Gray Raven - Fire Emblem Heroes - I'm waiting for the Uma Musume global cause I love the anime so much! I also play League of Legends on my PC and I own a Nintendo Switch although I don't really use it much at the moment. My pc isn't very good so don't expect me to post something PC gaming related anytime soon. But here are some of my favourite non mobile games and series: - Like a Dragon - Crash Bandicoot - Rayman - Lethal Company - Fire Emblem - The Legend of Zelda - Final Fantasy - Metal Gear Solid

MUSIC: I mostly listen to italian music, so this section doesn't really have much to say for the "global audience" so let me list some artists I like: - Vocaloid (Various, mostly Miku) - System of a Down - Ado - Twenty One Pilots - Various videogames sountracks I'm not listing italian music cause I don't think it's really a topic of interest for most people

*Peach had been invited for a tour of the Glade by Grand Minimus. Murfy had taken over the position as guide since Rayman had been called to his hero duties. He apologized in advance to Peach for not being the one to give her the tour, but would make it up to her once he returned.

*As the two would tour together, Murfy suddenly let out a horrified gasp as he caught the attention of a firefly person. She looked very pretty and would flash a smile when she saw Peach. Murfy would suddenly hide himself behind the princess' skirts, gently holding onto the fabric as he attempted to hide himself better.*

"Peach! Hide me! That's one of my ex's! She's got the personality of sour milk! Don't let her get to me!"

Rayman Retaliation

Chapter 7:

The firefly, who was still hidden in Joe's collar, noticed Joe begin to panic. She inhaled a deep breath, puffed out her chest and flew straight out of the room, much to Joe’s surprise. She darted down the maze of corridors and back to the previous room to see Rayman pre-occupied with fighting Robo-Rayman. The room shook again, causing Robo-Rayman to almost fall through a hole that broke through the floorboards. Rayman tried to kick him back down, but it used it’s helicopter on it’s head to hover back up. It lashed out at Rayman with it’s clawed metal hands.

The firefly noticed Rayman was struggling. With clenched fists, she soared over their heads and landed directly onto the big red button. The pressed button made a clicking noise as it set off a mechanism which lit a long fuse leading to the giant cannon. Robo-Rayman heard the click. It turned to face the firefly sitting on the button and slowly marched towards her. She stared back frozen in terror.

Rayman quickly jumped back and fired at the giant swinging chandelier on the ceiling. The pellets tore through the chain connecting it to the ceiling and it crash landed directly on top of Robo-Rayman. It smashed through the floor and hit every floor on the way down. Rayman was clinging to the wall away from the gaping hole in front of him.

“Firefly!” he yelled out across the room, sounding relieved but excited, “I’m so glad to see you!”

The lit fuse made it way to the cannon and a gigantic cannon ball shot out, the sheer strength of the weapon’s blast pushed the planet back slightly and covered it in a wave of gunpowder smoke. The smoke filled the room as the large window was smashed open.

However, the cannon was collapsing along with the rest of the planet. The cannonball was off target and shot straight past Razorbeard’s escape pod, causing him to spin out of control from the momentum.

They don’t realise this happened as the cloud of smoke obstructed their view. The firefly glowed a bright light and led Rayman out of the dark, smoke-filled room as both of them coughed.

They ran into Joe in the corridor and they all hastily looked for a way out. The power had shut down and all the lights turned off, so the firefly led the way. The crumbling tower began to sway as they made their way for the exit.

“You did it, you stopped the planet from moving! And the cannon went off!” Exclaimed Rayman while panting, “But I don’t know if we hit him.”

“I don’t know either! I couldn’t see with all the smoke, but we don’t have time to double-check, we need to get out of here!”

The ground outside was littered with broken-down Pirates. Towers were collapsing, ruptured pipes spat out hot steam and machine cogs broke off and bounced across the ground as machines broke apart. The imbalance of the world had eventually become too much and everything was falling to pieces.

They hastily made their way towards the alien jungle again to find Joe’s spaceship. They had to quickly navigate the jungle as it caught fire from the chaos. They quickly removed the ship’s heavy disguise and boarded it.

Meanwhile, as the Robot nightmare counterpart was shoved into the ground, he noticed his crumbling surroundings. He realised that the plan was failing. In a last-resort attempt, he drove his remaining energy towards the poles of the planet to kick-start the rocket-propulsion pipes again and drove the planet full speed ahead, to crash into the Glade of Dreams. However, the spirits of the other planets that were rescued by Rayman, had successfully defeated the Pirates on their worlds and were now pulling back at their tethered chains, which prevented the Robot Planet from moving.

The pressure on the exhausts caused them to explode and massive cracks ripped across the surface of the planet, causing chunks of earth and lava to break away from the crust and float away into space.

Joe piloted the spaceship as fast as possible away from the surrounding explosions, darting erratically side to side to avoid any flying shrapnel. The Robot Pirates that survived drove warships to try and escape, but they could not keep up with Joe’s spaceship. As the Robot nightmare guardian crashed and burned, his factory body erupted into an inferno. The blast wave launched Joe’s ship far into space. The three of them screamed their lungs out at the speed they were travelling at.

Back at the Glade of Dreams, the people of the Glade had been keeping a close eye on the Robot Planet since hearing the news from Rayman and Joe. The inhabitants gasped when they saw the distant explosion of the Robot planet that was large enough to see in the day sky. Those who had telescopes quickly announced the incoming spaceship.

Joe’s spaceship had shot through space and crashed through the clouds of the Glade of Dreams at an uncontrollable speed. Clark sprinted over and jumped up to safely catch the spaceship in his giant hands. Since the ship was hot from breaking through the atmosphere, Clark yelped and juggled the ship between his hands, blowing on it to cool it down. The hatch popped open to reveal Rayman, Joe and the firefly together, dizzy and seeing stars. Clark held the spaceship up in the air with one hand and pointed at it with the other as he yelled out for the others to come look. Their friends ran over and cheered at their safe return.

“Congratulations Rayman!” Ly called out from a tree top above their heads, “Glad to see you made it back in one piece this time!”

That evening, fireworks went off in the sky as the people partied and celebrated their victory.

Polokus announced that he had decided he would no longer stay isolated. The spirits of the worlds also decided that they would keep in touch more often as they worked better as a team to better protect their worlds. Some of the spirits and their people whose planets had been destroyed by the Pirates were welcomed to stay at the Glade of Dreams and other worlds.

From the aftermath of the Robot planet explosion, what was left over had broken down back into lums. These lums gathered together in the void of space. Who knows what they were thinking amongst themselves and what they planned to create next...

In the middle of the night, Rayman woke up in a cold sweat.

“Where is that cannonball heading to?”

A couple days ago I’ve been brainstorming with @scribblyspaceskeleton just how... technogoly-aware the Valley/the world of Rayman 1 actually is. In the Maingame the closest thing we get to that are Space Mama’s utensils (Washing Machine, Pressure Cooker, Laser Sword/Gun) and Joe’s Kiosk.

“Electricity” as a concept initially feels like this “Very Alien Thing” that Joe introduced to the Valley. When you are sent on the quest to put the plug back in he doesn’t even give you a flashlight - no, he hands you a firefly, which is more attuned to how Rayman’s world would go about things.

I like to think that the props from Space Mama’s stage play are crafted after stories she heard from Joe, possibly crafted from some of his scrap. He DOES come from space and would be such an inspiration. No one needs this many pressure cookers, they’re just fireworks with a decorative shell. The Washing Machine probably used to be legit, but is broken now and they gutted it to make it into a wonderful spacecraft prop for her stage-play.

With all of this brainstorming the hours were getting late and my brain was becoming brave and I decided to take a deep dive and look into the educational games/activity center games because THERE Rayman teaches his audience about “moto” and “grue” and “radio”

I always loved the Firefly’s design in Rayman 1. So simple yet striking. I like to think they can glow different colors depending on their mood.

I could imagine Murfy trying to heckle her and she starts glowing red like Tinkerbell when she gets angry

Just imagine her making those angry Tinkerbell sounds too.

And yeah, I do enjoy Rayman 1 having such simple yet effective designs for the characters... For the most part, anyways. It just has its own unique charm to them.

I like to think one of the fireflies is Murfy’s rival cause she’s one of the first bugs to help out Rayman before him. She still brags about it and it gets on his nerves.

I’m going to hate myself for this, but I’m gonna delete and restart Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team. Time to say goodbye to Code Lyoko Team Base. We spent 412:52:12 playing, gone on 1552 adventures, and completed all the main story and post game. We had all Pokemon except for Clefairy, Clefable, Chansey, Jynx, Blissey, Jirachi, and Celebi

The hooting was familiar, eerily so. Rayman backed up a couple paces while the stranger caught his breath. Eden? Is that where he came from? Didn't sound like anyplace he'd ever heard of. Fireflies floated aimlessly around, somewhere, a night-bird cooed. These woodlands were all he'd ever known.

This guy's had it rough. Rayman lowered his fists, letting the charge beneath his fingers fizzle out.

"Why would there be a trap?" He doesn't put his hands up again; now that the shock is simmering down, he's mentally kicking himself for being such an easy target.

"I got no reason to fight you. Unless you work for the Pirates." Not that he had the look of one. Unless he was some kind of...secret robot?

"I'm Rayman," he says, as if he isn't tossing a match onto gasoline. "You're in the Glade of Dreams."

That fist... for some reason this kid reminded him of him when he was full of hope. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐏𝐈𝐃 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐭.

Nymphs.... something about that word felt so familiar, but he can't put his finger on it. He has been away way too much time from Dimension X, to enter in Planet Earth

But inspecting his surroundings, he sees that there is no buildings. No humans, no hybrids... well, yes there were hybrids one in front of him, but the sounds of gunshots were non existent here,𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝑬𝑨𝑻𝑯, 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝑳𝑶𝑶𝑫 𝒔𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. Yells of happiness were released from the ex-Eden's poster boy. He didn't need to be so hostile anymore, now would he?

Oh 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐌. 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐌, nobody would want his head anymore, nobody would want to kill him, there is no need to defend himself from a kid... The smells of fresh air, his lungs catched as much air as possible, no more smell of blood.

He didn't want to risk get in a trap, that the other wan't real, that his new hope was nothing more than a 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐋 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 to torture him with the VR helmet... waiting for him to fail to giver him a shock... please, if there it was someone listening to his pleads, 𝑳𝑬𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑩𝑬 𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑳.
